Anger is a normal emotion that everyone feels at some point in their lives. It’s neither good nor bad–it’s just an emotion. Anger can escalate out of control and damage relationships and we need to learn how to respond to these angry feelings.

As a therapist, I don’t adhere to one specific theory but believe all theories have value in the right situation. Primarily, I utilize Reality Therapy/Choice Theory which, when put in laymen terms, is best described as “we are all dealt a certain hand in life. It’s not the hand you’re dealt, but how you play it”.
I believe we have choices, regardless of the situation. Some choices are more desirable than others. I strive to help you consider all available options and help you evaluate which option is best for you. Our choices have consequences, something we must consider when making life’s difficult decisions. My role is to help you discover what is best for you.
